This project seeks to share and uplift diverse knowledge about flood risk in the Topsham Ward community, bringing together residents, community leaders, and experts-by-experience to produce personalised creative knowledge maps that will be shared through a community event and online. The project will be carried out with residents and community leaders of flood risk areas in Topsham Ward to explore their feelings about their lived experiences of flooding and how floods are managed, and the potential impact of climate change on this local area. The creative mapping work would be a way to surface and share diverse representations of different kinds of local, personal, cultural and scientific knowledge about flooding and risk. The workshops will cover: relationship building, knowledge exchange and creative mapping.
